Blood sugar Normal :
Fasting blood sugar (FBS) : 70 to 110 mgs/dl
Post Prandial blood sugar (PPBS) - 2 hours after breakfast : 90 to 139 mgs/dl
HbA1C : Below 5.7%
Pre Diabetes :
Fasting blood sugar (FBS) : 110 to 125mgs/dl
Post Prandial blood sugar (PPBS) - 2 hours after breakfast : 140 to 199 mgs/dl
HbA1C : 5.7% to 6.4%
Fasting blood sugar (FBS) : Above 126mgs/dl
Post Prandial blood sugar (PPBS) 2 hours after breakfast : Above 200mgs/dl
HbA1C : Above 6.4%
"In best Diabetes control HbA1c has to be below 7%."
